This translucent rice powder is similar to Bare Minerals Mineral Veil. However, instead of Zea Mays (corn starch), it contains micronized pulverized rice for a smooth satin, finish.
Combined with silk powder that naturally contains amino acids to help maintain moisture and skins barrier.
It does NOT contain:

after i put on my moisturizer and my face is wet and greasy looking, i use this with a kabuki brush prior to putting on my powder foundation. sometimes it makes me look paler even after i’ve applied my powder foundation. but i’m working on that.

I have to say it was difficult for me, at the beginning to start using it, since it did not feel comfortable. I have dry skin and love wearing long-lasting makeup so I kept on using it until it worked!!! I was applying it with the wrong kabuki brush. It is an amazing product. Love it!

I have had it for a year but didn't get to "use" it much until recently when I was out and about on a trip. I applied it according to the instructions Christy gave on her youtube video for oily skin. I used to have to blot my face A LOT (5 sheets of blotting paper), but after using it with the "dusting twice" method, my need for blotting paper is drastically reduced! Not sure if Christy would be viewing this - but what if I don't put on make up, what is the "order" of putting this rice powder to reduce sebum production and shine? Thanks for a great product.
