LIGHTENS ACNE SPOTS AND AGE SPOTS

The Image Ageless Resurfacing Masque helps lighten acne spots and age spots by using Glycolic acid, lactic acid and Salicylic acid to help really exfoliate the dead skin.  It not only helps remove the darkened layer of skin but also helps the skin absorb any other lightening products  into the skin; therefore, increasing the efficacy of the lightening agents.  It also has a high amount of L-Ascorbic acid (otherwise known as Vitamin C) , which is known to be a great antioxidant and lightening agent. GREAT EXFOLIATING PROPERTIES

The Image Ageless Resurfacing Masque has great exfoliating properties because the third and fourth ingredient is Glycolic Acid and Salicylic acid (respectively) .  It also has Salicylic Acid which is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid). The Glycolic acid and the Lactic acid are both AHA and are highly effective in removing dead skin cells. The Glycolic acid (derived from sugar cane) is known to be the smallest AHA and can penetrate the skin the fastest.  It can breakdown the intercellular cement that holds the skin cells together. The Lactic Acid (derived from fermented milk) is a more gentle AHA than Glycolic Acid .  It helps helps reduce acne and helps fight fine lines and wrinkles without the irritation that straight glycolic acid may cause to more sensitive skin types. The Image Ageless Resurfacing Masque also has Salicylic acid (derived from Willow Tree Bark or Wintergreen leaves) which can help break down oil and free up clogged pores. Because the Ageless Resurfacing Masque contains the three different acids, it can address all three types of break outs (flash colored bumps, red bumps, and red pustules).

ANTI-AGING PROPERTIES:

The Image Ageless Resurfacing Masque helps fight anti aging.  It has listed L-Ascorbic Acid as the seventh ingredient which is Vitamin C (mentioned earlier) and Glycerine which is a vegetable based humectant which brings moisture to the skin along with phospholipids which also bring moisture to the skin. In addition to the AHAs and BHAs for exfoliating, it also has Papaya which is an enzyme exfoliator. It also has anti inflammatory ingredients such as Calendula and Arnica Montana.  Inflammation brings on aging whether is inside or outside the body so anti inflammatory ingredients help with ant aging. Finally, the Image Ageless Resurfacing Masque effectively breaks down dead skin cells and the intercellular cement that holds the skin cells together so the increases the penetration of anti aging serums, acne products, eye products and creams.
