Home Remedies for Dry and Dehydrated skin will NOT be about putting food on your face such as yogurt, egg or mayonnaise.
These are simple treatments you can do at home that are done as a part of a professional facial treatment, MINUS the clinical products used.
***More specifics are included in the video***
First, these home remedies can be done for BOTH dry or dehydrated skin. There is a difference in the skin conditions and they have different needs.
Dehydrated Skin vs Dry Skin
Dehydrated skin essentially needs water and Dry skin needs lipids or oils. When you apply heavy creams to dehydrated skin, the skin does not seem to absorb the cream and remains dehydrated and crinkly, lacking elasticity.
Dry Skin may be lacking ceramides and fatty acids within the skin.

How to Treat Dry vs Dehydrated Skin
These home remedies are for BOTH Dry and Dehydrated skin.
#1 Tip for Home Remedy for Dry and Dehydrated Skin
Oil Infusion Treatment–
Best Facial Oils to use with this Treatment and WHY
(***Contraindications for this home treatment are red, inflamed, sensitized skin conditions such as acne, Rosacea, Psoriasis, Eczema, post acid peel and Retin A users, and post procedural)
After performing a double cleanse and exfoliating, on slightly moistened skin start the facial steamer or covering your head with a towel , while placing your face at least 6 inches above a steaming pot of water.
Place a couple drops of oil on the damp skin. This will create a moisture barrier on the skin. Massage gently while facing the steam for a few minutes.
If your skin is especially dehydrated, then spend less time in the steam and further away from the steam.
***PRO TIP***: #2 Tip Overnight Hydration Treatment
(***No Contraindications for this treatment if used WITHOUT the Oil infusion treatment AND with the CORRECT Mask)
After the oil infusion treatment, while your face is STILL moist, apply a thin layer of a water based gel mask evenly . You can even apply this on your neck, chest, eyelids and over your lips.
Instead of rinsing it off after 15-20 minutes, you can leave it on overnight.
***PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU CANNOT DO THIS WILL ALL MASKS***
Some masks were MEANT to be rinsed off so I will be linking to masks that you can do this WITHOUT any irritation.
In the morning, rinse thoroughly and perform the double cleanse again, and then apply a hydrating serum followed by a SPRAY toner NOT one that you have to use with a cotton ball.
While your face is still damp from the toner, apply your eye cream and moisturizer.
This at home remedy for dry and dehydrated skin CAN BE USED separate from the oil infusion treatment. Therefore, it CAN be used if you have Acne, post peel, Retin A users, Rosacea, Psoriasis, Eczema.
***Please make sure that you are using a mask that is NOT contraindicated for the skin conditions listed above.
