The Best Make-up For Fine Lines And Wrinkles

The Best Make-up For Fine Lines And Wrinkles

What is the BEST make-up if you have fine lines and wrinkles? ;The best make up for fine lines and wrinkles is make-up that smooths and blurs those lines that’s also ANTI-AGING!!

You read that correctly. Make-up that not only helps hide wrinkles but FIGHTS wrinkles!

Read on (or watch our video) in our Best Make-up series to find out what ingredients to look for and which brand we LOVE and recommend! (**This is NOT a sponsored post**)

The first thing you need to consider if you have fine lines and wrinkles is which type of make-up to use:

MINERAL-BASED POWDER FOUNDATIONS or LIQUID FOUNDATIONS

It is best to AVOID powder and mineral-based powder foundations because the powder settles into the fine lines and wrinkles and actually EMPHASIZES them!

When looking for a foundation for aging skin you’ll want: GOOD COVERAGE, something that MOISTURIZES your skin, and something with a HIGH SPF to address any dark spots or Hyperpigmentation.

Preferably, you’ll want to look for a LIQUID FOUNDATION.

You’ll also want to keep an eye out for anti-aging ingredients such as: VITAMIN A, VITAMIN C, and VITAMIN E ;as well as Humectants in the ingredients such as: SODIUM HYALURONATE, GLYCERIN, and ALOE VERA GEL.

LOOK FOR SUNSCREEN IN FOUNDATION:

The final thing you’ll want to look for in a foundation is a HIGH SPF. You need the sun protection to come MAINLY from mineral-based ingredients such as: TITANIUM DIOXIDE, ZINC OXIDE, and IRON OXIDE.

Have oily skin and Don’t like sunscreen? ;Try this one

Ingredients that end in “ATE” are usually chemical-based sunscreens. Mineral-based sunscreens do not get ingested into your skin and into your body, therefore your liver won’t need to overwork itself to get rid of the toxins.

Mineral-based sunscreens stay ON TOP of the skin while chemical-based sunscreen absorb into your skin and body.

Something else to consider, as you get older you may experience mid-life Acne, you may develop dark spots or Hyperpigmentation, or have scars that you want to cover.

You’ll want GOOD COVERAGE but at the same time you don’t want to use a heavy make-up that will clog pores, like “Stage Make-up” (other very popular brands).

You need a make-up that allows your skin to breathe and brings down inflammation, and eventually, after regular use, FADES the dark spots and Hyperpigmentation.

You’ll want to look for LIGHTENING and BRIGHTENING ingredients such as: LICORICE ROOT

KOJIC ACID

or ARBUTIN (which is a plant-based lightener and brightener).

One of the brands we really love here at Go See Christy Beauty Boutique (heads up, this is NOT a cheap product, it retails for $65) is one we personally use ourselves as well as sell to our clients.

It is from a brand called IMAGE SKINCARE.

**This blog post and video are NOT sponsored and Image is NOT paying us to endorse their brand.**

It is the “I-Conceal” liquid foundation. (The number one seller in the boutique is color #2 or “NATURAL”.)

  • HIGH SPF
  • REDUCES INFLAMMATION,
  • INCREASES HYDRATION, GREAT COVERAGE,
  • has ANTI-AGING INGREDIENTS, and doesn’t have a lot of unnecessary chemical ingredients.;Try to find all THAT is another liquid foundation!

For best results on color:

very light skin –Porcelain Image Iconceal

light to medium (most light to olive skin tone)- Natural Image Iconceal;

Medium to Dark Medium-Beige Image Iconceal
